His talent both as songwriter and performer cannot be overstated, as he has penned, recorded, and performed an unparalleled catalog of music that for millions symbolizes the pinnacle of rock excellence. The band is also responsible for some of the most iconic songs in rock history, like “Roseanna” and “Africa.” As a session guitarist, his talents have graced hundreds of records, most notably Michael Jackson’s mammoth release Thriller, as well as works by Cher, Cheap Trick, Bozz Scaggs, and Alice Cooper. He is also a critically acclaimed solo artist with an impressive list of albums that showcase his extraordinary talents as guitarist, singer, and songwriter. His most recent solo album Bridges was released this year.
With the Dos Pinguinos art collection, Lukather ventures into his second full collection of fine artwork. Again, working with art team SceneFour, the guitarist is one of the pioneers in a new medium of fine art, as he is unveiling visuals crafted from his performance on the fretboard. Now available, each piece in the collection is numbered and individually signed by Steve Lukather.
